No trace travel tips for true green travel around the world
As long as you are truly a travel lover, you might know how to make no trace travel. Not all of the people who often travel around have the consciousness of protecting the nature. A true green traveler is the ecotourist who causes no environmental harm by leaving no trace when you visit natural areas. In order to make your trip green and eco-friendly, remember and apply these travel tips:
- Always prepare for your trip.
Planning for your travel is always necessary in order to have an enjoyable time. In order to avoid times of high use, visiting only in small groups. You should also pack food and beverages to minimize potential waste in every place you come to.
- Choose durable surfaces to camp.

Travel and camp on ready-made campsites, don’t change a site to suit your purposes, and stick to existing trails. You should walk on path, and avoid places where you can see that use might cause damage to the area.
- Dispose of waste properly.
Put the trash at the right place
There always have dustbins in public places so remember to put the trash at the right place. In case you can't find where to throw the trash, just take it away. Bring along biodegradable products if you want to do washing and cleaning.
- Just go sightseeing, don't take any thing.

Visitors often take small things like pebbles, leave or flowers as souvenirs of the place they travel to. However, just keep you beautiful time in your memory. Don't take any wildlife items such as plants, rocks, birds’ eggs and nests or other potentially valuable artifacts with you when you leave an area.
- Minimize the damage of campfires.
Light a campfire only when you are permitted by rangers or wildlife officials, and try to use established fire pits when you do. Never leave a campfire unattended, and burn everything to ash to be safe.
- Show respect for wildlife.
Enjoy the scene in green-friendly way
Feeding animals or other wildlife can alter their natural behavior, so just watch them from a distance. Learn how to reduce your chance of encounters with potentially dangerous wildlife, such as bears, and the way to ease the situation when you come across them.
- Be considerate of others.
Give way to other people you encounter on a trail and always respect others like the way you want them to treat you.
If your trip includes wildlife watching, ask about the operator’s Code of Conduct before you book. At minimum, it should include provisos to never chase or interfere with wildlife in any way and to limit the time spent watching any one animal.
As you always want the place you travel to is clean and beauty, you should become a true green traveler. Take no trace travel wherever the destination you visit. Use these tips to save the nature for the future.
